BCC Kids

Every Sunday, babies through fifth-grade kids experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. We would love for you and your family to visit BCCKids this Sunday. Join the fun, and experience a world where kids meet Jesus on their level!

Planning Your first visiT

From the moment you pull in the parking lot, you’ll notice lots of friendly faces eager to show you the way. Your first stop when you arrive is the first-time check in area. We want to serve you and your child well, so we’ll take some time to get to know you. We’ll ask about allergies, make sure we know what your child likes to be called, and collect your contact information. Then, you and your child will both get a sticker with a matching code. This sticker is what you’ll use to pick-up your child after service. If for any reason we need to reach you during the service, you’ll receive a text message notifying you, or someone from BCC Kids will come get you from the auditorium.

2 environments for your kids

  • PRESCHOOL

BCCKids has weekly environments created especially for your infants through preschool-aged children. We can’t wait to meet them! Our environments are clean and safe and staffed with caring volunteers, specially chosen for their love of preschoolers, who will get to know you and your child by name. We want every preschooler to know God made them, God loves them, and Jesus wants to be their forever friend.

  • ELEMENTARY

In our Kindergarten-5th grade environments, we believe the Bible should never be boring, worship can be really loud, and good leaders always care. The focus is our small group environment. We want kids to see how God's Word fits into their lives, to learn how to talk to Him, and to build friendships that will last. We want every child to know three things: I need to make the wise choice, I can trust God no matter what, and I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

We Value

CREATIVE BIBLE TEACHING

The Bible is the most amazing book ever written! We bring Bible stories to life through activities and conversations that keep children engaged. We want all children to love God’s Word and understand its value in their lives.

RELATIONSHIPS

We want kids to know there are people at church who care about them. As families commit to attending the same service each week, children are placed in a small group of familiar faces where relationships can grow.

AGE-APPROPRIATENESS

Everything from our environments, to the language we use in our lessons, to our small group materials are created with your child’s age and stage in mind.

SAFETY

We take lots of steps before kids arrive to keep them safe. Every toy and environment gets cleaned and sanitized. And, every volunteer is screened with an interview and federal background check. Our whole team — from staff members to small group leaders to safety personnel — are trained to keep your kids safe.

FUN!

Kids love fun! We create fun ways for children to learn about Jesus, including games, activities, singing, and live acting. When children have fun at church, they can’t wait to come back.

FAQ

What do you do to keep kids safe?

Safety and security are at the forefront of importance for  BCCKids. Specifically, all kids and guardians are given matching tags. Children cannot be picked up by an adult without the security tag that is given at check-in. Parents can be notified at any time during the worship service if they are needed in the children’s area. Additionally, children’s areas are secured and monitored at all times once the service begins.

Who will be working with my child?

Volunteers in BCCKids are highly dedicated and see the opportunity to serve children and families as a privilege. All of our volunteers pass through security screenings and training.

What if I lose my Parent ID tag?

If for some reason you were to lose your identification tag, please go directly to BCCKids Check-In. Be ready to present your driver’s license for identity verification in order to receive a duplicate identification tag. Pro-tip: the tags are stickers so you can kept track of it better.

What should kids wear?

Play clothes are always welcome! BCCKids is a fun, active environment. Your kids will be playing, singing, and dancing as they learn about Jesus in small groups and large groups.
