Jesus is changing the lives of students in Blount County, and they want you to know about it! Josh made the decision to follow Jesus and be baptized, putting all his family, friends, and community on notice. We're so proud of Josh for his boldness! Click HERE and hear a little of his story.
If inclement weather creates dangerous travel conditions, church activities may be canceled or adjusted. We do not follow any school system; in the event Sunday activities are canceled or changed, we will immediately and clearly post an announcement here on our website, send a church-wide email, and post to all our social media outlets. Please, ensure your email information is up to date and follow us on social media.
"And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets."
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment."
Blount County Student Conference (BCSC) is a collaborative effort of local student pastors to provide opportunity for the students of Blount County to gather for community and common faith growth. Students will attend engaging sessions with students from multiple churches, and head to host homes afterward, organized by BCC Students for discussion and quality time. With Brody Holloway as the featured speaker and the Snowbird Wilderness Outfitter Band coming to lead music, BCSC 2019 will be even better than last!
BCSC is Friday, March 1st through Saturday, March 2nd.
Cost is $40 per student.

Christ's birth is a reason to celebrate! We're celebrating by throwing a Christmas party with a fun twist for students and their friends. There will be plenty of food, fun games, the opportunity to win some fun prizes, and we're bringing back the students' favorite stocking exchange game! We have 99% of everything covered. All the students need to bring is their gift for the exchange game. Here's everything you need to know about the stocking to bring...
Each student should go to the dollar store (the one at Hunter's Crossing is a good option!) and pick out a stocking that they think is awesome. Once they have a stocking, they should browse the store and put any five items they want in the stocking. Items just have to be able to fit IN THE STOCKING. Get creative! Be weird! Give the beloved gift of a spatula or glow sticks (no knives or anything dangerous, though). You'd be surprised what all you can get for $1. At the end of your student's dollar store adventure, they should have 1 stocking and 5 items in the stocking for a whopping total of 6 items. The total cost of the gift, per student, should be around $6.57, after tax. Bring the stocking and its content with you to the party on December 16th! We'll take it from there. Easy peasy! Contact Fish@BlountChurch.org if you have any questions...
We are looking forward to all of the new items we are offering this year!! The store will stay open until December 9th at 11:59pm. At that time Pokey's will order everything together, print, and they will be brought to the church building. You will receive an email when your order is all set. At that time, you can print off your order confirmation and bring it to the building during normal office hours or on a Sunday morning. Sizing always seems to be tricky, so if there are major concerns email/text Rachel Rambo. In each item description we will do our best to describe the fit. There will also be a spec/measurement guide in the pictures of each item.

This sign up is intended to deliver the necessary information to anyone interested in participating. This initial interest sign up will close Dec. 2nd. Email Fish@BlountChurch.org with any questions.
