How long have you been at BCC: My husband and I have been attending BCC for about 16 years.
Hometown (Where I grew up): I was raised nearby in Loudon, which is where my husband and I eventually decided to move back to.
Family: Together, we have three kids: Riley (in college), Mason (8th grade), and Laura (4th grade).
Favorite Food: My favorite food is authentic street tacos with homemade guacamole… or chocolate!
Favorite Hobbies: My hobbies include photography and farm animals.
Favorite Sports Team: Lately, my favorite sports teams have become my daughter’s competitive gymnastics team and my son’s water polo team, since that’s where we spend most of our time by cheering them on.
What most people don’t know about me: What most people don’t know about me is that I graduated as a nurse, though I haven’t practiced in years.
What am I reading: I love listening to a variety of audiobooks, and my current devotional read is from Max Lucado.
What is currently on my playlist: As for my playlist, it includes Josiah Queen, Brandon Lake, and Forest Frank.
Life Verse: My life verse is John 14:27: “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
Favorite Bible Story: The story of Abraham became meaningful to me when God called our family to move away to Iowa in 2017 and then brought us back home three years later. This story has become a huge part of my testimony—The calling to have faith and trusting in God to establish our steps.
Ministry Experience: Since we began our journey at BCC, I’ve worked and served directly in the children’s ministry. I now support our classrooms by prepping curriculum weekly and volunteer as the Dream Team leader in the children’s department on Sunday mornings.
