How long have you been at BCC: Since the beginning (I was only 7)

Hometown (Where I grew up): Maryville, TN

Family: Married to Cody Akers (since January 2021). We have a 1 year old son, Whitten Wade. And we have a Golden Retriever named Camp!

Favorite Food: Hibachi with extra yum yum sauce!! Chickfila - really anything dipped in their bbq sauce:) Chicken quesadillas from Los Amigos, if you haven't tried them, you NEED to!

Favorite Hobbies: Traveling, camping, singing, piano, pickleball, decorating my house, and hanging out with my family — especially my nieces and nephew:)

What am I reading: Currently going through The Bible Recap!

What is currently on my playlist: How Great Your Love Is (Red Rocks Worship) and so many more (I love worship music!!)

Life Verse: 1 Corinthians 16:14 “Let all that you do be done with love.”

Favorite Bible Story: I love the story of Abraham. How he waited patiently for all that God had promised him. Such a powerful reminder that God’s timing for our lives is perfect and everything happens for a reason.

Ministry Experience: I've sang on our worship team since 2019. I've been on staff since April 2023 and have loved getting to be a part of telling BCCs story!
